The Business Predicament
Sometimes business makes you want to laugh and cry. When running imageOne, I sure felt like that . . . many times throughout my day! You’ve got so much wisdom within you, so much tenderness and brilliance, but you unknowingly keep it tucked away. Why?! To protect yourself from insecurity (ego -> fear). You have the potential to experience the freedom of a butterfly, to let yourself soar. And yet, so often, you choose the small, fearful cocoon of the ego.
This is my hope for you as we enter into the new year: that you choose to release fear. Let go of ego centered behaviors that have been limiting your potential, and step fully into the person you are meant to be. You are capable of so much more and, frankly, with less effort. You are here to thrive, to create a business and a life that fills you with joy, passion, and inner peace. The time for that to happen is now.
From Cocoon to Flight
The fear that keeps you in the cocoon is subtle. When you are willing to look inward, to honestly explore what holds you back, you start to notice a shift. I see it all the time with our clients! You will begin to sense a freedom that has always been possible for you. A simple shift from fear-based decisions to love-based decisions will free your True Self.
You must trust that part of yourself. You are driven, but now you will be driven with a sense of peace and clarity. As I’ve written about before, you will begin to allow intuition to lead the way, so that every action you take is aligned with the 10-Year Thinking Vision you have for your business and life.
Entering the New Year with Freedom
The year ahead holds much potential. Imagine stepping into it without the baggage of old insecurities or ego driven fears. Picture yourself making decisions from a place of alignment and purpose. This is how you step out of the cocoon and into true freedom. You’ve got the wisdom. You’ve got the tenderness. It’s right there within you. All you need to do is trust it, let go of the smallness of ego, and embrace the vastness of who you truly are.
Journaling Prompt (3 Minutes):
Reflect on a recent decision you made in your business. Were you acting from a place of fear, or from your deepest intuition? How might letting go of ego shift your choices moving forward?
Inspiration for this Week:
“Let go of the small, fearful cocoon of ego, and spread your wings. You are born to fly.”
