Time to Check In

time to check in

During my annual physical this month, my doctor mentioned to me how fast this year is going and that it’s already June.

It reminded me of the days when it felt like life was passing me by and everything felt so urgent.

My exam went well and I was given a clean bill of health (just in case you were worried!). During the discussion part of our time together, he said that if I have things I want to do or places I want to visit, do them now, life is too short.

Of course, there are many things I want to do in my life but I’ve realized I can’t do them all now. And, I’m ok with that for two reasons. First, I practice Discipline #1, 10-Year Thinking. All my actions today inform what I imagine my life will be like 10 years from now.

Second, with 10-Year Thinking in place, I am able to live in the present moment knowing that it is all I really have. The past is over and the future hasn’t happened yet.

This is the power of 10-Year Thinking. It actually allows you to slow down, live, and appreciate the present moment.

If you have a 10-Year Thinking Vision, I encourage you to take this present moment to read and review it. Consider these questions:

  • Has anything changed in your life that requires you to update it?
  • Are you inspired when you read it?
  • Is the way you are living your life aligned with it?

I’d like to invite you to join us for our next Group Coaching Program. During our 10 Session program, which is limited to just 15 people, you will learn to incorporate 10-Year Thinking in your life and create a 10-Year Thinking Vision. I’m incredibly passionate about this Discipline because I’ve witnessed how much impact this has on every one of our clients.

We dive deep into all of the 10 Disciplines to ensure you build a foundation in your life to implement each successfully. Our sessions are highly rated and will make a huge difference in your life. I encourage you to take our True Self Assessment to learn how strong your foundation is.
